Tables

Insert a table

  1. Right click in the grey Word-like toolbar and select table.  The table toolbar is activated as the last toolbar.
  2. Select insert table icon (first icon in bottom row).
  3. Enter desired table properties.
    Note: Please use max table width of 700 pixels or 100% to avoid from having content block being wider than header and footer of web page. 
  4. Select OK when finished.

Control Table Properties

  1. Right click in the grey Word-like toolbar and select table.  The table toolbar is activated as the last toolbar.
  2. Position cursor anywhere in the table that the properties are to be changed.
  3. Select table properties icon (third from right) in table toolbar.
  4. Enter desired changes.
  5. Select OK when finished.

Insert Rows and Columns

  1. Right click in the grey Word-like toolbar and select table.  The table toolbar is activated as the last toolbar.
  2. To add a row, position the cursor on the row below where the row is to be inserted.
  3. Select insert row icon from table toolbar (second icon in toolbar).
  4. To add a column, position the cursor in the column to the right where the column is to be inserted.
  5. Select insert column from table toolbar (third icon in toolbar).
    Note: Columns are inserted to the left of cursor position and rows are inserted above cursor position.

Merge and Split Cells

  1. Right click in the grey Word-like toolbar and select table.  The table toolbar is activated as the last toolbar.
  2. Highlight data in cells in the row to merge.
    Note: There must be data in first and last cell to merge.
  3. Select the merge cell icon in table toolbar (eighth icon in toolbar).
  4. To split a cell, position cursor in cell to be split.
  5. Select the split cell icon in table toolbar (ninth icon in toolbar).

Span Rows and Columns

  1. Right click in the grey Word-like toolbar and select table.  The table toolbar is activated as the last toolbar.
  2. Position cursor in cell that is to span columns or rows.
  3. Select cell properties from table toolbar (next to last icon).
  4. Enter values for either Columns Spanned or Rows Spanned.
  5. Select OK when finished.
    Notes: Columns spanned are horizontal and rows spanned are vertical.  Spanning rearranges table layout of cells.
