It is an exciting new resource that gives first person accounts of students who overcame challenges to going to college such as peer pressure, lack of family support, and financial barriers. Ir provides relevent, comprehensive information about why to go, how to go, and how to pay for college or other postsecondary education programs. If you've had questions about going to college or might not have been considering higher education this site will be engaging, imformative, and inspiration. It will help you create your own "roadmap" to college and beyond!
Kentucky also has a very useful website, www.GoHigherKY.org. It provides many resources that pertain to Kentucky students. For example you can logon and check the status of your Kentucky Educational Excellent Scholarship (KEES) Money, manage online applications to many state institutions, get detailed information about specific schools in Kentucky, request that your high school get transcripts to your selected colleges & univerisities, and much more!
