Discussion:

Regent Pace stated that several employees had contacted her regarding being unable to use their debit cards for health insurance costs.  She has spoken with Suzanne Hogge in Human Resources about this and the problem is now taken care of.  Rep. Adkins stated that Angie Thompson in Human Resources told him that if you did not spend all of your FSA/HRA money from last year that the debit cards should be working.

Rep. Thacker asked if Staff Congress had any representation in the search committees for the Provost and Human Resources Director?    Chair White replied that there was one staff person, Drew Henderson, was named to serve on the Provost Search Committee.  Regent Pace stated that Faculty Senate had representation from their group on both of these search committees.  Rep. Thacker then inquired as to why a member from Staff Congress was not placed on these committees.  Chair White stated that Carol Johnson had contacted him and asked for four to five names of staff members to serve on the Provost Search Committee.  Chair White stated that Drew Henderson was the only non Staff Congress name given.  He added that the staff representative for the Provost Search Committee was chosen from the list of names he had provided to Carol Johnson.
