Spring Break, Spring Back 2008 Student Projects
MSU will be focusing our efforts this coming Spring Break on two special projects that will have significant impact in our region. The first is a Morehead Habitat for Humanity project. We will be working on a house that will belong to an MSU employee and that makes it even more meaningful!
We will be working along side a team from Ohio State University and will host them for an evening activity of our own style of "Survivor." Cost will be $50 per person with most of that money being contributed to the Morehead Habitat for Humanity Chapter.
The second project is one that will greatly contribute to our regional stewardship efforts. The project will include refurbishing the classic auditorium and the small traditional gymnasium at the Hazel Green Academy in Wolfe County. These will become wonderful facilities for the community and region. Daily transportation and lunch will be provided. We will be doing painting, flooring, fan installation, stage curtain work and creating/installing window treatments. The cost will be $50 per person and will cover transportation and partial meal costs.
