Work Schedules

The Office of Facilities Management is making adjustments in staff work schedules to provide better and more timely service to our campus.  Effective November 28, 2005 the work schedule will expand to allow staffing to be present on campus during the times:

• Building Maintenance 7 AM - 3:30 PM
• Preventive Maintenance 7 AM - 3:30 PM
• Locksmith 7 AM - 3:30 PM
• HVAC 7 AM - 3:30 PM
• Building Services
  • Academic Buildings 5 AM - 4 PM
  • Residence Halls 5 AM - 4 PM
  • Evening Shift All buildings 4 PM-12:30 AM
• Warehouse 7 AM - 3:30 PM
• Grounds 7 AM - 3:30 PM
• Night Maintenance 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
• Office 7 AM - 4:30 PM

Van Usage Requirements

 As of January 31, 2006, a new state mandate requires any state employee driving a 10 passenger van owned by the Commonwealth to have completed a mandatory online training program.  You may register online at http://www.kyt2.com and click on the "Van Driver Program" button. After completion print out 2 (two) certificate of completions (one for your records) and mail one copy or hand carry to:

There is a $25 registration fee prior to receiving the training disc and materials. Certificate must be presented before a "Road Test" can be scheduled.

The Office of Facilities Management is required to have notification of the completion of this training before we can allow the utilization of any 10 passenger van after January 31.  Please have any employee who may
need to utilize a 10 passenger van in the coming months to complete this training as soon as possible.  If you have any questions, please contact the Facilities Management Office at 783-2147.
