Sterling. The Owingsville Branch was dissolved on 5 September 1971.

From 1971 to 1973, Branch President Lilburn P. Hackney presided over the Morehead Branch which met on the Morehead State College campus until the Owingsville Ward was organized on 25 November 1975.

The Ward initially met at the Salt Lick Civic Center before moving to its PRESENT LOCATION ON STATE HIGHWAY 36, FIVE-TENTHS OF A MILE SOUTH OF OWINGSVILLE EXIT 121 ON INTERSTATE HIGHWAY 64 WEST OF MOREHEAD, KENTUCKY.
