Biography: Paul Taylor, currently Associate professor of music at Morehead State University for the last twenty years and teaches applied piano, piano pedagogy, keyboard history, accompanying, piano ensemble, class piano, music theory and an online class in musical aesthetics. He has performed throughout the United States as well in Central America, Asia and Europe and has published articles in the American Music Teacher, Piano Guild Notes and Keyboard Companion. He holds a bachelor of music degree from the University of Texas at Austin, a Master’s from the University of Illinois and a Doctorate from the University of Wisconsin. This year he received a grant to compose incidental music and song settings for several original French poems and will perform them later this year.
