Multicultural Student Services
Morehead State University

Mission

The Morehead State University Office of Multicultural Student Services is designed to provide a full range of support services for students, faculty, and staff of color.  These services include educational, vocational, cultural and social programming support to minority and international students, as well as the Morehead State and Morehead, Kentucky community.  The services provided by this department helps to further the University’s plans and goals for a more diversified, yet unified campus community.  All of the services provided are predicated on providing the best possible support for the betterment of the faculty, staff and students.  The Office of Multicultural Student Services serves as the umbrella for student organizations that help meet the mission of the department.  We work closely with The Black Student Coalition, The National Pan-Hellenic Council, The Black Gospel Ensemble, and The Cosmopolitan Club.  These organizations help students feel positive, both socially and academically, about their college experience.

The Multicultural Student Services Center is open to all students in a multi-use facility that allows all students on campus numerous activities and services that help foster a well-rounded student and community.   The Multicultural Student Services Center offers non-traditional hours, which allow students access to the various services offered in the Center.
