MSPR Alumni Information Form

Welcome to the MSPR Alumni page! We welcome all former students, staff, volunteers and friends of Morehead State Public Radio and WMKY at 90.3FM.

Since June 15, 1965, WMKY has served the communities of eastern Kentucky, southern Ohio and western West Virginia from the beautiful and historic campus of Morehead State University. Operating at 10 watts from a small classroom in the Combs Building, WMKY has grown to a major broadcasting power at 50,000 watts to serve the region with programming that is educational, informative and entertaining.

Utilizing MSU students as a key mission to its operation, WMKY continues to provide an environment which supports hands-on opportunities in a professional environment. Through the years, approximately more than 1,500 students have been a part of WMKY’s story as news and sports reporters, studio and production engineers, public relations and marketing.

We’re preparing for WMKY’s 50th Anniversary Celebration in 2015 and we invite you to share your stories with us. Tell us when you worked at MSPR/WMKY and any current information about yourself you’d like to share.
