There are many helpful national resources that provide informative resources. Once you have clicked on the site, you can find great resources and links to your local chapter. Finding your local chapter will allow you to explore events happening throughout the community. These sites are also a great way to gain more knowledge about health topics that interest you.


American Academy of Family Physicians,

This site provides information on food and nutrition, physical activity, mental health/stress, preventing health problems, first aid, safety and injury prevention, crisis control, health insurance, and travel and vaccines.

American Lung Association

The American Lung Association® is the oldest voluntary health organization in the United States, with a National Office and constituent and affiliate associations around the country. Founded in 1904 to fight tuberculosis, the American Lung Association® today fights lung disease in all its forms, with special emphasis on asthma, tobacco control and environmental health. Wellness Information Zone

The Wellness Information Zone is a health literacy project in public libraries and nonprofits developed by The Humana Foundation in partnership with Libraries for the Future.  The project's goal is better health through health information in everyday language.
