Morehead State University's KEEP initiative provides a 10 percent discount on the published tuition rate for as many as two courses per semester of graduate study, including Internet courses, for full-time faculty and staff members of accredited public and private K-12 schools and adult education centers in Kentucky who are enrolled in degree, non-degree or certificate programs recognized for credentialing purposes by the Kentucky Education Professional Standards Board. Non-degree programs include Fifth Year and Rank I.
Also eligible for KEEP are students enrolled in any of MSU's Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) programs, regardless of place of employment.
Qualifications include advance registration for classes and submission of completed admissions packets to the Office of Graduate Programs postmarked no later than Dec. 1 for the spring semester and April 1 for summer sessions. To receive the KEEP discount, a student must be fully admitted by the start of classes.
Applicants must have their full-time employment verified by a school official by the same deadlines.
Tuition and fees must be paid by the start of classes. KEEP participants are limited to two courses per semester, and a total of two courses during the summer. Courses outside the College of Education may be included if required for an education degree, non-degree program or certificate. >> Go to MSU Class Schedule
A waiting list for "filled" classes will be established and maintained during advance registration each semester for the benefit of KEEP participants and other students.
