Canadian Studies at the
University of Kentucky
University of Kentucky students have the opportunity to begin their study of Canada with Perspectives on Canada, an introductory team taught Canadian Studies Online Program course, and then take advanced CSOP courses in Canadian history, geography, government and politics, environmental policy, and society and culture from comparative and international perspectives.
These Canadian Studies Online Program courses are available to UK students, because the University of Kentucky in 2001 joined with Morehead State University, Eastern Kentucky University, Western Kentucky University, and Georgetown College to create the Kentucky Canadian Studies Consortium which has offered Internet courses to consortium students since the Fall 2001.
