The Kentucky Canadian Studies Association is the common venue for three Canadian Studies programs described at this link: the Canadian Studies Online Program, the Canadian Parliamentary Internship Program. and the Kentucky Canadian Studies Roundtable.
The Canadian Studies Online Program was created in 2001 by the Kentucky Canadian Studies Consortium to promote our understanding our North American neighbor by offering a multidisciplinary program on five Kentucky campuses. William Green has written about the Canadian Studies Online Program in his "Creating a Canadian Studies Online Program" in the Fall 2004 Canadian Studies Update.
CANADIAN PARLIAMENTARY INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
The Canadian Parliamentary Internship Program is a five week summer experience in Ottawa, Canada's capital city. The program involves students in the political life of a Member of Canadian Parliament by participating in the work of the MP’s office, attending House of Commons sessions, committee meetings, and official government functions.
