Organic MSU and Students in Free Enterprise

Several students interested in agriculture, specifically organic agriculture, formed a group to cooperatively learn from and teach each other organic methods and principles through hands on gardening activity out of a perceived lack of such useful knowledge within the Agriculture programs presently offered. Organic gardening is devoid of harmful chemicals and focuses much of its energy on soil enrichment, which represents a potentially huge sink for carbon in the atmosphere and unlike present day industrial agriculture it is not fossil fuel dependent. - Submitted by organicmsu@yahoo.com
