Minutes:
Minutes of October 17, 2002, passes as distributed. Minutes of October 31, 2002, passed as corrected.
Senate Actions:
Governance Committee:
Technology Resources Committee was presented for a second reading. Senator Irons made the following as friendly amendments: ‘change would to will in lines 12, 14, and 118.’. Friendly amendment accepted. Senator McCoy made the following as a friendly amendment: ‘ in line 81 insert technology skills after student’. Friendly amendment was not accepted. Senator McCoy made the following motion: ‘insert technology skills after student in line 81.’ Motion was seconded and failed. Technology Resources Committee passed as amended.
Professional Policies Committee:
PG-49: Sick Leave was presented for a second reading. Senators Rogers, Irons, and Barnett presented the following as a friendly amendment: ‘in line 121 insert after time, and whenever possible.’. Friendly amendment accepted. PG-49 passed as amended.
PG-1 and PG-3 were withdrawn.
New Business:
Senator Irons presented a resolution in regard to IDEA as a first reading.
Senator Henderson presented a resolution in regard to Parking as a first reading.
