What happens if I decide to leave MSU and not complete my course(s)?
|
Students who find it necessary to leave MSU under any circumstances must officially drop or withdraw with the Office of the Registrar.
If you officially withdraw you will receive a grade of "W" (Withdrew Officially) for each class you were registered for. If you do not officially withdraw, your class professor may give you a "U" (Unofficial Withdrawal) or and "E" (Failure).
A "W" will not affect your overall GPA.
A "U" or "E" can greatly affect your overall GPA. Refer to Marking System and Scholastic Points for more information.
