Boundless Research Possibilities

Students in Morehead State’s mathematics and physics programs are offered a wealth of opportunities to learn while gaining valuable research experience. Students can work as undergraduate research fellows as early as their freshman year, an option not offered at some other institutions. Students also have the opportunity to present their research at national conferences, which will give them the confidence they will need to present their work once they become professionals. Students from the program have interned at some of the world's most prestigious laboratories, including the European Organization for Nuclear Research, better know as CERN. The facility is home to the world's largest particle accelerator, the Large Hadron Collider.
