Student Clubs and Organizations

There are a variety of professional organizations and clubs in the College of Business which offer students opportunities to meet new people, have fun and expand their professional and personal experiences. These clubs are an important part of the college learning experience and provide benefits beyond those you’ll receive in the classroom.

  • Accounting Club: The Accounting club is available to accounting majors and anyone else who might be interested in learning more about the accounting profession. For further information contact Dr. Karen Pierce or Dr. Sarah Garven
  • Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP): AITP is affiliated with an internationally recognized organization of computer professionals and offers an excellent opportunity to meet and network with professionals in the real world. For more information, contact Dr. Randy McCoy
  • Beta Gamma Sigma: Beta Gamma Sigma is the honor society for students enrolled in business and management programs accredited by AACSB International. With more than 500,000 members worldwide, the society’s membership comprises the brightest and best of the world’s business leaders. For more information, contact Dr. Johnathan Nelson.
  • Phi Beta Lambda (PBL): PBL is a professional organization for students interested in business. PBL offers a variety of social, community and professional activities for its members. For more information, contact Professor Sam Stapleton.
  • Rho Epsilon: Rho Epsilon is a co-ed fraternity for students and professionals in real estate and serves students and practitioners by enhancing real estate programs and improving communication between the academic and business communities.  For more information, contact Dr. Beverly McCormick.
  • ENACTUS (Formerly Students In Free Enterprise): Enactus is an international nonprofit organization providing college students the opportunity to establish a variety of community outreach programs that teach free enterprise. Enactus students apply business concepts to develop community outreach projects, transform lives and shape a better, more sustainable world.
