Any international student applicant who meets all academic and other requirements for international admission, but who does not meet the English proficiency requirement, will be considered for conditional admission. Applicants are reviewed individually based on their submitted documentation and academic program requirements. This policy applies to both undergraduate and graduate international student applicants.
International student applicants who request to be considered for conditional admission must follow the standard admission procedures required for all international students by submitting all required documentation to International Admissions.
In addition to academic program requirements, applicants for conditional admission must meet the following English proficiency requirements.
61 (70 MBA, MA in Comm.,
MS in Biology)
46-60 (60-69 MBA, MA in Comm.,
500 (525 MBA, MA in Comm.,
450-499 (475-524 MBA, MA in Comm.,
Conditional admission for international student applicants is allowed specifically to provide an opportunity for international student applicants to meet English proficiency requirements and continue on to their desired academic degree programs.
To comply with the conditional admission policy, conditionally admitted international students must complete the following steps:
Conditionally admitted international students will have one academic year, including summer, to complete the required steps to progress from conditional admission to unconditional admission.
