New Faculty Institute


NEW FACULTY INSTITUTE

(Fall Convocation Week 2013)

The New Faculty Institute is a CLPD collaboration with various work units, administrators, faculty and professional staff across campus.  The goal is to answer questions new faculty may have while building a strong base of knowledge about MSU. This three-day experience coincides with fall convocation.  There will be two full days of orientation on Monday and Tuesday while Friday is more flexible.

Day 1 of 3 - Monday, August 12

  • 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. in the Riggle Room of ADUC

Day 2 of 3 - Tuesday, August 13

Day 3 of 3 - Friday, August 16

New faculty are invited to visit the Camden-Carroll Library to consult with the librarians and instructional design team who can answer questions regarding resources for research and Blackboard. 

  • 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. in Learning Resource Center in Camden-Carroll Library (drop in as convenient)

  • Friday, October 11 @ 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.
  • Meet at and return to Center for Traditional Music with stops in Bath County, Mt. Sterling, Prestonsburg, and West Liberty.
