Debbie H. Long

Deborah (Debbie) H. Long of Lexington has spent more than 35 years in the food service industry. Following graduation from the University of Kentucky, Ms. Long spent ten years in Colorado. In 1981, she moved back to Kentucky and opened Dudley’s Restaurant, which she continues to own and operate today. Ms. Long has won numerous awards including 2001 Woman Business Owner of the Year; 2009 Smiley Pete Award; 1997 Kentucky Restaurant Association’s President Plate Award; 2006 Blue Plate Award – Restaurateur of the Year by Plate Magazine. She is a member of the advisory boards of Central Bank and Sullivan College along with being on the board of directors of Fayette Alliance. Ms. Long’s term on the MSU board ends in 2017.
