R. Kay Calhoun – Chemistry Lab Supervisor,  Instructor, and Chemical Safety Officer
Kay supervises labs and manages the chemical stockroom for the chemistry program. She also teaches chemistry labs and acts as chemical safety officer for the program.  She is one of our accomplished graduates, receiving her undergraduate degree in Chemistry from MSU.  She pursued further work and obtained her M.S. in Chemistry at the University of Georgia and culminated this with a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Kentucky. Her interests are chemical instrumentation, chemical kinetics, lecture demonstrations, science fiction, cacti, and foreign films - subtitled (not dubbed).  Kay was been with the Chemistry program since 1994.  Kay is the person on the left.

Carla Blevins - Administrative Departmental Specialist
Carla grew up in Mount Sterling, KY and started school at Transylvania University.  She finished her degree in Accounting at Morehead State University in 2001.  Carla is currently working on her MAT at Morehead State University in Middle Grades Math & Science.  Carla has been working at MSU for a little over 2 years.

 Lynn Eisenhour - Lab Manager/Research Assistant
Lynn works under the auspices of a grant from the National Institutes of Health - Kentucky Biomedical Research Network.  Her primary responsibility is to conduct research in the area of polyhydroxyalkanoate inclusion structure and biogenesis; a project that is funded by an NIH-AREA award.  She also helps manage the Magrane Molecular Biology research lab.  Her undergraduate degree is in Biology from Evangel College and she also has a M.S. in Zoology (Molecular Genetics concentration) from the University of Tennessee.  In her spare time she conducts research with her husband (David) on freshwater fish.

Alison Grice - Lab Manager/Research Assistant
Alison comes to us from Colorado where she earned a B.S. in Microbiology at Colorado State University.  She is an avid outdoorsperson.  Alison works in Dr. Hare's lab on research funded by an R-15 award and supported by the Kentucky Biomedical Infrastructure Network.
