Kids From Rowan County Elementary Conduct Experiments in Our Labs

MSU professors are teaming up with Mrs. Genny Jenkins, of Rowan County School district, to bring a group of gifted & talented 4th and 5th grade students from all over Rowan County School district to MSU science labs.  The goal is to challenge and inspire these students by immersing them in science lab work with MSU professors.  Biologists, geographers, animal scientists, and space scientists are all welcoming students into their labs for one Friday afternoon. These students explore, through hands-on experiments, how science is involved in the diverse work of veterinarians, microbiologists, geneticists, vertebrate biologists, archaeologists, and astrophysicists.
