Curriculum Map for the Chemistry Major
Option 1: Environmental Chemistry

NOTE:  Because the environmental option requires an environmental science minor and this minor no longer exists, the map below is not accurate.  However, it is close and we are keeping it up as a general template while we work on a new curriculum map.  In the meantime, please consult Dr. Ann MacIntosh if you have questions about the curriculum.    Full program and course descriptions, as well as degree requirements, can be found in the 2009-2010 Morehead State University Undergraduate Catalog.

*Math 174 may be skipped if student is qualified to start in Math 175

**Courses for the minor, gen ed courses, and electives should be chosen to complete 43 upper division credit hours when combined with the major.  Pre-health professional students should consult with their advisor regarding an appropriate minor.

***Chemistry 441 is offered every third semester; consult with advisor regarding exactly which semester you should take it.
