Curriculum Map for the Chemistry Major
Pharmacy track
This map is not intended to be a rigid template. but rather a suggested sequence of courses that will fulfill General Education, Chemistry Major requirements, requirements for the baccalaureate degree, and requirements for application to pharmacy school. Several first year courses require minimum ACT Composite, Math and/or English scores. You should consult with your academic advisor for course scheduling during the pre-registration period for each semester. Full program and course descriptions, as well as degree requirements, can be found in the 2009-2010 Morehead State University Undergraduate Catalog.

**Courses for the minor, gen ed courses, and electives should be chosen to complete 43 upper division credit hours when combined with the major. Pre-pharmacy students should consult with their advisor regarding an appropriate minor, but Biology 171, 210, 317 and an Anatomy & Physiology class are necessary for the PCAT. It is also strongly advised that students take Biology 304 and 380. This combination of courses makes a biology or integrated sciences minor most practical.
***Chemistry 441 is offered every third semester; consult with advisor regarding exactly which semester you should take it.
