Welcome to The Center for Adult Education and College Access

Whether you are an adult starting your university experience or returning to the university, a student in middle school or high school, an adult working on your GED, an adult education instructor or administrator, or a community member wanting to become more involved in your community, The Center for Adult Education and College Access is committed to assisting you in achieving your educational, personal, and career goals.

The Center for Adult Education and College Access assists adults who want to receive college credit for lifelong learning and experiences through the credit for prior learning program.  The Center provides literacy, adult basic education, and refresher classes and workshops through our Adult Learning Centers in Bath, Montgomery, Morgan, Powell, Rowan, and Wolfe Counties as well as our statewide KET GED Connection. Through the Adult Education Academy in collaboration with Kentucky Adult Education we provide professional development for adult education instructors and directors.  Through our college access and success programs such as TRIO (Educational Opportunity Center, Talent Search, Upward Bound, and Student Support Services), Kentucky AHED, and Today's Youth we assist middle, high school, and adult students to gain access and be successful in postsecondary education. We help people give back to their communities through our Retired Senior and Volunteer Program (RSVP) and MSUCorps (AmeriCorps) Program.
