Morehead State University announces

"New Doctor of Education Program"

Graduate studies is a growing sector in our region and in our world. At Morehead State University, we strive to bring you "much more" of the excellence in education that we're recognized for.

Much More in our program offerings – With 51 graduate degree programs plus 42 graduate level non-degree programs designed especially for professional educators, MSU is constantly focused on bringing relevant programs that are aligned with and complement our region’s uniqueness and resources. In addition, we also offer the education specialist in five specialty areas, and a doctoral degree in education (EdD) designed to meet the distinctive needs of P–12 practitioner-leaders.

Much More for our graduate students – MSU currently offers over 90 graduate assistantships for students pursuing degrees. Recently, we increased the yearly stipend from $7,000 to $10,000, and we offer a tuition waiver for non-resident students. Additionally, we offer the Science Endowment Fellowship and the Major James Scott Dehart Graduate Fellowship both of which are available to eligible graduate students who maintain a 3.0 gpa.

Much More opportunities for successfully completing your degree – Our graduate courses are not limited just to the main campus in Morehead. We operate five regional centers—Ashland, Jackson, Mt. Sterling, Prestonsburg and West Liberty—as well as instructional sites at Pikeville College and Maysville Community College. Our MBA was the first online degree program in Kentucky and today several other graduate programs are available online or through interactive video.

So, if you're thinking that graduate school may be in your future, take a moment to browse our programs and find out why MSU is "much more" than what you bargained for.
